Conference and holiday in Colorado

On Saturday 18th October 2008, I went to Colorado for a software conference, where I gave a few talks. Colorado Software Summit if you're interested - sadly 2008 was the last of these excellent conferences. I managed to get a couple of extra weeks of holiday after the conference, and did a little bit of mountain walking, along with a trip to Arizona to see the sights, even skipping briefly into Utah.

Keystone, around the lake - Tuesday 28th October

Tuesday was a lazy day. I had to check out of my condo, and I was being picked up by a friend to go to Denver in the evening, so I didn't wander too far. In any case, my feet were reasonably tender after my trip up Tenderfoot Mountain the previous day. So I walked around the lake a little, laughed at the ducks slipping on the ice, and watched the sunset. Duck on ice
